Hello suser’s.
My openSUSE 11.2 64 bit’s not off it completely, after I had an update online. Do not ask me what I updated, was much …
In the process of shutting down, I hit “ESC” to display the text, and photographed the screen where it to.

Apparently he’s off the hd, but no exit and is on this screen.
Does anyone know how to solve?
Hmm this is supposed to have been fixed with the latest kernel. What kernel are you running?
uname -r

I’m running 2.6.31.12-0.2 which was the last update.
This is supposed to correct the shutdown problem. I never had that but I run KDE and I think the problem was for Gnome or maybe just some notebooks.
Suggest you go into Yast-SOftware Management and see if the 0.2 kernel is available to you. Or check updates.
Thank you for the suggestion, so I can, I will update my
kernel and test. I’ll be back to report later.
