DNS over TLS

Hey guys,

stubby seems to be a popular resolver to get DNS over TLS running on Ubuntu systems. And there is also a new systemd unit that supports DNS over TLS. Unfortunately, neither the one or the other is part of openSUSE yet.
Is anyone using DNS over TLS and what do you use on openSUSE?
Can´t Networkmanager alone handle DNS over TLS?

Thanx

Oh, I just found out, “unbound” seems to support DNS over TLS in recent versions.
Just need to find out now, if the unbound version found in openSUSE is recent enough.

If you’re not talking about encryption between DNS servers,

It looks like since I mentioned dnscrypt-proxy in in a posting awhile back, a package is now available(I had to build from source and manually configure then).
Works great for me… Ensures encrypted DNS connections regardless whether a VPN is configured properly or not (A VPN can be mis-configured, allowing DNS leakage).
