these are seen on from old motherboard running solus G1.Assassin 2 (rev. 1.0) and Z690 GIGABYTE AORUS MASTER motherboards, ran solus gnome 4.4 on it too but didn’t install it, the bigger text is from my G! Assassins 2 and the smaler text messages seen from my newer desktop like the Warning: unprivileged eBPF is enabled with eIBRS on, data leaks possible vis spectre v2 BHB attacks seen bootup offline on my Z690 Gigabyte AORUS motherboard.
I got some more screen shots of errors in red to share, from my new desktop and my older desktop, but I did the dmesg --kern from a solus bootup, and not in opensuse microOS which I do currently have on my older desktop, and while I bootup a live ISO of solus on my new pc, I don’t have linux installed to it yet. these below are stuff detected in my other computers at home.
these two above are seen when using dmesg --kern in new desktop bootup from USB drive.
ok, thanks I added a few images, that show some text in red if that helps get these things fix on any linux distro, my new pc , has message about possibble spectre v2 BHB attacks in the images seen above this post, I included a few from my gigabyte motherboards, z690 gigabyte AORUS motherboard master, and my older one which is G1.Assassin 2 (rev. 1.0), the terminals that are smaller text in the full sized views are from the newer desktop, and the boxes which are biger in text size are from my older gigabyte Assassins 2 motherboard. like no codecs found and CPU has DIMMs but ECC is disabled from older desktop. I had did a dmesg --kern > bootup.txt files for them on my USB drive, but I think that too much text to share, plus it doesn’t show them in red that seems to only happen in the display on the linux terminals. so I don’t think that would be much help. these terminal images, are taken from a liveISO mode from USB drive of gnome desktop on solus from USB drive, I think opensuse shares some of these red line texts, I can check later and repost if they do, I will check what dmesg shows on older desktop if needed later on, since I got it installed opensuse MicroOS to the G1 Assassins 2 gigabyte motherboard, but no opensuse on my newer pc, again I don’t mind bootup a live mode from USB drive on that one, but I will not be installing linux to it at this time, plus that warning message in seen on the USB bootup of solus 4.4 on newer gigabyte motherboard, I never seen that type of message in windows 11 on that pc.
