Distros based on Opensuse

Is Novell for sale?

I can see spinning off SuSE on it own.

I think SUSE could benefit from some sort of spin off. Lets face it Ubuntu has the market share because its easy and fairly attractive. OpenSUSE is the nicest KDE I have seen, much less buggy environment than the Kubuntu. But, it has some serious short comings. I have had some issues with dependencies, which i had thought was a thing of the past. And whats up with the NVidia bug? No other distro I have tried has that problem. I would love to make a spin, if i had the knowledge. Add an Ubuntu style software center, fix those goofy bugs. Include the Kubuntu style Network Manager, and the broadcom_wl drivers. And get some more attractive splash screens and such.
