Trying to use a webcam with builtin microphone, and having a few issue.
Have been using a very similar (but different…) one for ages, successfully, but have just purchased another (inexpensive) one, and the sound is as if it is being processed, BUT, a dual boot machine, and running in Windows, it works fine! (Well, OK, anyway.) Here is the sample sound, recorded with audacity, and sound the same in any app in Leap15.2.
Therefore, appears it must be something to do with the way PA is processing the sound??
Have tried many settings, but makes no difference.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
