In the past, as a new Kernel comes out, MalcolmLewis has compiled the latest EVDI for us (and THANK YOU for that!!), but it doesn’t seem to be there for Tumbleweed for the latest kernel yet. Is that in the works?
Hi
The module as it stands needs patching to build for the new kernel, need to check on what’s what Will see if can update it today for you.
Thank you!
Hi
Fixed and building for Tumbleweed
And I am updated and working across four screens again. Thank you!!
That was shortlived.
Apparently, we have upgraded to the next kernel, and I have the latest EVDI (evdi-kmp-default-k5.4.10_1) and the latest kernel (5.4.10-1.1), which looks like it matches. However my extra monitors are not being detected as an option.
kcmshell5[5096]: org.kde.kcoreaddons: Error loading plugin "kcm_kscreen" "The shared library was not found."
Plugin search paths are ("/usr/lib64/qt5/plugins", "/usr/bin")
The environment variable QT_PLUGIN_PATH might be not correctly set
That seems to be unrelated, but I can’t see any other problem. Anything else you can suggest for me to check?
“Are you sure the cord hasn’t come loose?”
Sorry to have bothered you, that was the cause this time. Thanks you for the help you have provided!
