I’m using the live CD, my screen resolutions are all out of wack… Its detecting 800x600 or something similar… when i get to dispaly or monitor settings my actualy video card is detected but once i select the correct resolution it tells me that the effects will be applied after a reboot… so i run the live cd again and back to the same issue… If i select 1680x1050 then everything gets really small but the display only uses 1/3 of the monitor… the center 1/3… Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This is the live cd. You can’t really set this up at all. Best you can do is try the vesa boot. Once you are installed you can configure this properly. You might want to mention what graphics device you have, as some are not so good.
