i have got a weird problem with my graphics. everything seems smeared, when scrolling in firefox or conqueror, the controllbar has got splotches, and so do the window bars. it looks like as if the graphics are not fast enough.
i run opensuse 11.0 kde3.5 (but it also happens in kde4)
kernel 2.6.25…
on a gateway t1616 laptop
with a wxga ultrabright tft active matrix lcd display, and ati radeon x1270 video graphics.

okay … after much tinkering and trial and error, i figured ut a solution (which, at least, works for me):
go to opensuse.org software search
type radeon
one-click install the drivers
reboot
all graphics seem to be working fine now … hope it works for you … if so: spread teh word …theo;)
I have the same problem with SuSe 11. I’m running KDE 4.0 When I open a browser and scroll the vertical bar all graphics just break apart. I have an ATI RX1200 card. The page you said to download and install password I can’t find any more. I am a newbie to SuSe please help me. This problem is too annoying
