There does not seem to be any way to easily disconnect an iPod in opensuse 11.0. The eject button on the device manager and the ‘Safely Eject’ option in Dolphin only unmount the device from /media.
Using ‘eject /media/ipod_mountpoint’ gives an error, but using ‘eject /dev/sdXY’ works. Both of these commands require that you are root.
Is there some trivial control that I just can’t find?
