On occasion Kmail loses my folder assignments for mail from specific accounts and sends them to arbitrary folders after notifying me (sometimes) that the destination folder has been deleted (it hasn’t). Since these arbitrary folders do appear in the destination folders box in the account configuration, I can find the mail. Unfortunately, I had a filter which sends important mail to a particular folder. Kmail blanked the destination folder (I assume it thought it was deleted). These mails have disappeared completely. I had someone send me an email that would be subject to this filter and it showed up for a second in my inbox and then disappeared, never to be found again despite searching for it in all folders. Is there any way to find these emails?
