Hi,
GNOME 3.10 has an animation when logging in where the desktop “zooms in”. This animation is not very smooth for me and I’d like to disable it. How can I accomplish this?

You cannot probably remove it.
You can probably speed them(effects) up using extension
https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/277/impatience/

GNOME 3.10.1
openSUSE 13.1 (Bottle) (x86_64) 64-bit
Kernel Linux 3.11.6-4-desktop
