disabling names in login screen

In my earlier installation of open Suse names of the user would not be displayed in the login screen.
Now they are being displayed. I want to disable this?
Can anybody tell how to do this?

Hi,

this depends on what DE you are using. If you are using kde, edit kdmrc (KDE4 /usr/share/kde4/config/kdm/kdmrc KDE 3 /usr/opt/kde3/config/kdm/kdmrc) and look out for UserList and set or uncomment “UserList=false”.
