Disable LED Flashing on iwl4965?

Hello,

I have a laptop with an IWL4965AG network adapter. It works fine in Suse for which I am thankful however in recent versions of the kernel they have changed the functionality of the LED from solid on indicating activation to flashing for activity. Its a nice thought but the blue LED’s on this HP laptop are so bright thats its very annoying. Is there any way to disable the blinking on activity?

I’m not sure that is possible and you wouldn’t want to bugger up your wireless would you.

Stick a bit of bluetack over it.lol!

Search the Forums. There is a command that turns the light off.
