Difficult changing session theme

with one user and don’t asking any password nor showing the session theme after booting each time, there is an issue if you try to modify the session theme, after that the machine start to show the session theme screen with each booting and the password isnt recognized
the snapshots doesnt change this, before loading continue requesting session password that doesn’t recognize
do not want to reproduce because need to reinstall
thank you

Which desktop environment (Plasma, Gnome, XFCE,…) are you using? Wayland or X11 session? If you’re not sure please show us the output from
inxi -GSa

plasma only x11,

Do you mean the SDDM login screen theme, or the Plasma desktop theme?

Login sddm theme, the one that asks a password Currently, I am running slowroll, so I can not give more information.

thank you

So your title tag should be for Slowroll rather than Leap 15.6? In any case, I’m having a hard time understanding your opening post.

the tag or issue was with leap 156
indeed with slowroll, if I select different login sddm themes from discovery (and are not showing any theme at the start), the system will start showing that theme each time that I start it, but the issue about not recognizing the password (x11) will not be a problem,

so I leave it as it is, in order to not interfere with the start of the laptop…

with slowroll x11 there is not issue with password… as I know…

I don’t want to test in slowroll either (choosing and installing themes), because I do not know how to hide that theme later

sorry if this is not understood

indeed once a time, i used a trick to hide a login sddm theme (one user only) and that is switching between wayland and x11, in that way, when return to the one that I am using, the login sddm theme cease to appear, but that just was used one time, and do not know if it is pertinent about the topic
that is when the password is recognized
