Dictionary for linux

Do you use any offline dictionary?
Someone recommend a dictionary for linux/openSUSE.

sorry, mine favorites are all online and therefore being updated at
the speed of light (or the speed of the Internet), but for online i’d
recommend you try a few, apparently there are several, i have zero
idea which have google as a verb and which not, but would say that any
with Google only as a noun (or not at all) are FAR too old to consider:

hmmmm…my good idea this morning: if you find an offline dictionary
which auto-updates its word db when attached to the net…AND the
online version already has (for example) one use of ‘tweet’ associated
with IT, let me know…because i might wanna buy some stock in that
outfit!

There is a dictionary widget available in KDE4.
