please help

I connected a Nokia once. Different Nokia + different ISP I’m sure. But this might help for general method or ideas:
Wireless HSDPA broadband in Suse/openSUSE Using Nokia 6120 Mobile Phone as Modem on Three Mobile Australia

Thanks swerdna

But still. I already use KInternet but it remain the same. The Log says connected but I cannot browse, cannot ping. Strange…

It looks like you are connected properly. The only problem is that your /etc/resolv.conf is not getting updated properly. (Someone else can help you on this).

For the time being, can you update it manually and test it?
Jut put 2 entries there:

nameserver 124.195.15.100
nameserver 124.195.15.98

thank you syampillai

It works!! thank you for the enlightment
but do i have to do this manually?

is there something wrong with my linux configuration. thank you

There’s a place in the Modem Settings in Yast where you can put the DNSs. When you get to this screen:

http://www.swerdna.net.au/nokia/nokia6.png

You then uncheck the box for “Automatically Retrieve DNS” and two slots for Name Server IPs will open up.

Disable NetworkManager.
