Dialup internet problem

Hi, I have some kind of trouble with Dialup internet connections.
I have an External Acrop Dialup Modem and using some kind of internnets that has no username and password. In KInternet or KPPP if I put authentication on PAP/CHAP , I give an error that “U must enter an username and password.” If I put authentication on Script-based or Terminal-based, i give no error and connection goes ok.
Now I want to connect with smpppd, and I gave this error:

SuSE Meta pppd (smpppd-ifcfg), Version 1.59_SVN31 on linux-fupa.

How can I change authentication type in smpppd?

Please checks your username and password provided by ISP which recorded in /etc/ppp/pap-secrets file.

Yeah, looks like a bad password.

Did you run the “wizard” in Yast/Network Devices/Modems? That should walk you thru your set up, but I would install Kinternet first, and use that to connect once you run the modem setup wizard in Yast.
