dhcploc.exe alternative

There is a Windows program called “dhcploc.exe” which detects DHCP servers across all VLANs. Any such tool exists under Linux? I think the way dhcploc works is that it goes out to every host across the network and sees who is handing out IP address.

I could use nmap -sU <subnet> -p 67-68 but that doesn’t tell me whether there is a dhcp server actually handling out IP address or not.

Thanks for any suggestions.
