i removed the two disk of a raid 1 (mdadm) but the device md127 come back to appear in the device available even after remove the file /etc/mdadm.conf
how can i remove permanently mdadm device ?
Just guessing that rebuilding initrd could work. There might have been something about mdraid in the current one if you still had the raid connected when it was built.
Is there a disk connected now that was ever part of RAID, and may have left traces of RAID config behind on the disk that were never wiped or overwritten?
it seems necessary to rebuild the initramfs after to remove the config and the disk !
