For a variety of reasons I cannot install opensuse (kde) with a wired internet connection. The only way I can get internet is to enable a wireless usb device, linksys, cisco AE3000. I have a way of building this driver Geek Scribble: Cisco Linksys AE3000 WiFi USB Dongle and Linux Driver Installation but I need development tools and they are not natively built into opensuse 12.3. I can’t get internet access so it’s a bit of a catch 22. I realize the new opensuse version is almost ready but I’m not sure if it comes with the development tools pre-loaded. Mint (xfce) and Ubuntu (unity) does but for some reason my system freezes. I have windows 7 on dual boot and would love to download the correct development tools, then access them from my linux installation. Including dependencies, can anyone advise me which software to download? Much appreciation in advance!!!

Wait. The big DVD has some of the development tools (gcc), but AFAIK
they are not included on the KDE or Gnome images (almost CD images).

Fair point, I assumed he was using the DVD for installation rather than a
Live image.
