I’m just wondering what the output of
ls -l /dev/nvidia*
would normally be on Tumbleweed?
I’ve got root:video. I’m not sure if I’ve accidentally set it to this or if this is how it installs as default!
Thanks

Here’s my system:
$ sudo ls -l /dev/nvidia*
crw-rw----+ 1 root video 195, 0 Jan 23 15:05 /dev/nvidia0
crw-rw----+ 1 root video 195, 255 Jan 23 15:05 /dev/nvidiactl
crw-rw----+ 1 root video 195, 254 Jan 23 15:05 /dev/nvidia-modeset
crw-rw-rw-+ 1 root root 236, 0 Jan 23 15:05 /dev/nvidia-uvm
crw-rw-rw-+ 1 root root 236, 1 Jan 23 15:05 /dev/nvidia-uvm-tools
/dev/nvidia-caps:
total 0
cr-------- 1 root root 239, 1 Jan 23 15:06 nvidia-cap1
cr--r--r-- 1 root root 239, 2 Jan 23 15:06 nvidia-cap2
Thank you, slightly different to mine but ‘video’ is there.
