upgraded 13.2 to leap 42.1,
using wolfi repos, I’m running KDE 4.14.17 and plasma 5.6.0, KDE frameworks 5.20.0, KDE applications 15.12.3.
Am i missing something or in [systemsettings>workspace theme>desktop theme] lack the custmize button??
the one that in the past allowed to customize the selected theme applying for example a theme to the widgets and another to the buttons…
This option has been removed in Plasma 5.6.
You can only choose the desktop theme as a whole.
You still can override certain parts of the configured theme by copying files from another theme into the corresponding subdirectories in ~/.local/share/plasma/desktoptheme/themename.
hi, …another feature improvement

manythanks,
I found these folders
pla@suseST-pla:~/.local/share/plasma/desktoptheme> ls
Elune Freeze Helium Mild Racy arquetype-dark kpluginindex.json metadata pla
pla is a copy of elune made by me,
but I cannot find the other showed in the [systemsettings>workspace theme>desktop theme] like breeze, breeze dark, air, customized, oxygen…
where can I find these theme??
The reasoning was this:
This removes the theme editor thing in the Desktop Theme KCM.
Most settings in there are either broken or useless nowadays.
The only setting I would miss is different Analog Clock faces which could be done in the Analog Clock directly. What I am missing in general is a custom Panel color/texture or something like that which we don’t have in here anyway.
See https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/126953/
Feel free to complain to the Plasma developers though.

The system themes are in /usr/share/plasma/desktoptheme/.
In general, ~/.local/share/xxx is the user-specific override for /usr/local/xxx/.
