Desktop launcher

Not sure if this is the correct place to post. But, I want to know how I can edit the menu list for the desktop launcher (when you right click on desktop)? Not sure what it’s called.

Don’t know if this helps? Customizing mouse right-click behaviour? • KDE Community Forums
Click the wrench next to the right mouse button and you have some choices.

Hi Obe, thanks for the reply and tip. But, I am using gnome; and specifically looking to alter (add items to) the drop menu when right clicking on the desktop.

Not sure what the drop down menu is called?

Sorry dude, you didn’t say so I assumed KDE since openSUSE has historically been a KDE disro.

No prob man, thanks for the help though!

I did find a solution:

It is the ‘Desktop Menu’ which I seek to edit, and I can use the nautilus-actions tool.
