Desktop Folder is Locked Onto Panel

I keep stumbling into layout issues with this version of KDE (Leap). I inadvertently dragged my desktop folder onto my newly created upper panel, and now I can’t figure out how to get it back. The panel icon opens when I click on it and displays the proper contents, but I can’t get it to drag and move back to the desktop. Is there a way to do this?

I assume that you are referring to the “Folder View” widget that was in the upper left corner of the screen.

In that case, just delete it from the panel, then add it back (with add widgets) to where you want it.
