Desktop Calendar for openSUSE 11.3

Dear All:

I am using openSUSE 11.3 kde and looking for a calendar which will show on the desktop andl provide event and to do list management.

I have used korganizer. But the problem is, it is not shown on desktop all the time.

Can anyone help me, please?

Regards

A general recommendation - Maybe try looking at the desktop widgets.
I haven’t yet found something that works for me (supporting a private calendar), I did find a downloadable Google Calendar Agenda but it seems to support only public Google App Calendars.

You could also place a Launcher widget on the Desktop and place a shortcut to korganizer or whatever else app you’d like. That puts apps within one click access… So, for instance even if my KDE Desktop is very busy, I can click on the “Show the Plasma Desktop” icon next to the start app button in the lower left to expose the Desktop without disturbing the windows I have open, then click on whatever shortcut is on the Desktop. I also make extensive use of multiple desktops to expand the number of windows I have open without layering too many on top of each other… You could dedicate one Desktop to something like korganizer while doing your main work on other Desktops for example.
