well, on dell xps M1530 with suse 11.0, until a month ago the use of (soft touch) volume and mute buttons was ok, now, probably after some “upgrade”:), they don’t produce any effect, of course I don’t remember wich kind of “upgrade”
I did which produced this effect, have you any suggestion?? where can I search to use the buttons again??.

Strange, my buttons work great, but I am still on 11.0 on my Dell. Perhaps look into xbindkeys? Or check compiz’s hotkeys
