Dell Latitude E6440 - SD card reader error message

Hello, I’m seeing the following error message at boot:
**
mmc0: Unknown controller version (3). You may experience problems.

**I’ve reading several bug reports about it saying it’s an SD card reader issue but I couldn’t find any fix/workarround.
The card reader works fine, although I had to reformat the SD card I have in order to get it working.

Dmesg and lspci:

dmesg | grep mmc
