dell 1525 wlan

Hello!

I have stumble upon a problem.

Everything on my Dell 1525 laptop works great under suse linux 11.2

everything BUT the wlan card.

And i really dont know were to begin.

I have a fresh installation, but i have dowloaded a package named “broadcom-wl-xxx-xx” via the package handler. But nothing more.

When i try to make a connection via Knetwork nothing happens when i use wlan0

Where to begin?

Windows identify the card as a Dell Wireless 1395, seem to be a broadcomcard.

The other thing is to run the command

/sbin/lspci -nnk

and post the part that describes your wireless device. That way we will
know what device you have.
