It seems kind of slow here so far, so I decided to send up my latest desktop.

I expect a xmas picture will come next, but until then it is simple and it is openSUSE.

Thank You,

Really like your icons triangular disposition [thumb up].
Did you use a particular logic for sorting them?
And also, the bottom panel (especially systray) reminds me of kde4.4. Am i right?

Thanks so much for your kind words there hotus. I did use some logic in grouping like things together and putting icons with light names an the top and darker ones at the bottom, due to the way the desktop picture does the opposite. Mainly though, I just have the icons on the desktop or menu bar that I use the most. I do use KDE 4.4 just as you guessed. I am waiting to use KDE 4.5 when the next openSUSE version comes out next year. The three folders in the Triangle are for Configs, Scripts & Editors. Configs to edit the many system files like fstab. Scripts such as the many I have put together like mmcheck or SAKC. And finally editors, where I have links to edit my script files I work on all of the time. I prefer to save time on common tasks when I can.

Thank You,

openSUSE 11.3 KDE (yikes, big Gnome fan and user taking sometime to get used to this)… wallpaper from the very funny Tangled

I would like to tell everyone that I look at every desktop picture put up. I really like to see what other users are doing and I very seldom make any comments. I wanted to say that I do look and I do appreciate the effort to post your desktop pictures here.

Thank You,

Here is my Christmas one.

It’s on page 15 by the way. Do a search for holiday. If the link changes. You probably want to go to page 15 and select it so it will give you your resolution.

Thanks for that. Its a really nice looking wallpaper

Very nice and clean looking.

Keep mine pretty clean and basic. I’m not a big fan of having too many things on my desktops. Kudos to everyone else though, the desktops look awesome!

Maybe the people making Tangled used SUSE, and that’s why they included the chameleon?!

I’m New Users, and this my Desktop…
