Dead eth0 after Hibernate

Hi!
When I’m Hibernating my openSuSE 11.0 with Lithium (PowerDevil), the System hibernates, and the next start brings up the DE (KDE 4.1.3). The one and only problem is:
my network interface (eth0) is “dead” after un-hibernating.


rcnetwork status

show that I’m connected to a DHCP server the DHCP client is running, and I have an IP address. I’m also tried to restart my DHCP client, to restart my network, but nothing helps. I’m not connected to the Internet.
When I restart my laptop, everything works again.
Any suggestions?

You didn’t state what method you used to restart your DHCP client.

Recommend IFDOWN/IFUP,
SuSE 11 by default configures you to use Network Manager, you’ll have to use YAST > Network Devices to switch from Network Manager to IFDOWN.
