dazuko + apparmor + antivir

I’m trying to install fully AntiVir, but the antivir-guard does not work, 'cause dazuko does not load, 'cause of apparmor.

Is there ANY way to make them work together, to worth to bother with?
Will be apparmor and dazuko compatible with each other?
Is there an alternative for firewall?

By the way I never saw, if apparmor really would work, and filters traffic. How can I figure that one out?

For normal use you don’t need apparmor. If i was you i would remove it and try again

on the dazuko faq there should be instructions on ho to compile it and still have apparmor installed (at least there used to be)

Suse 11.0 x64, Kde 4.1beta (factory repo), Opera 9.x weekly

What firewall should I install then? Or AntiVir comes with one, or there is no firewall for linux at all?

I won’t risk my computer with that.
… Is this a bot’s reply?

The option SELinux is also there for replacing apparmor.
But for what do you need antivir?

Antivir is not needed with Linux. If you run a server then you maybe want to protect your Windows clients. But this is not what antivir does.

I recommend dazuko + SELinux + clamav + fetchmail. If you like a GUI for clamav then clamtk.

To have an active, fully functional Anti Virus system on my Laptop.
I know that ClamAV does the same, but I feel much comfortable with AntiVir.

Of course, I want to protect my Laptop, when I connect to the internet.

You mean that AntiVir does not come with a firewall by default, or its not protecting a servers clients?

SElinux is a firewall? What does fetchmail does exactly?

Thanks, but I’ve already installed that as well. I didn’t checked what it really knows, by the way.
