I install the video editor blackmagic DaVinci Resolve 15. with the nvidia drivers install the app will open but when I inport a mp4 file it inport it as a audio file . And when I drag it to the editor it just put it in the audio track and will not split the video file any ides ? I did try the save file and video card in a windows 10 box it work just fine
I’m not sure how DaVinci handles multimedia but have you done a full vendor change to the packman repo
what is your repo list?
zypper lr -d
if it loads audio streams from mp4 containers it would seam you have at least aac decoders you might be missing libx264 or there might be a bug in DaVinci
have you tried running DaVinci from a terminal window and seeing the output messages?
Here what I have

about a full change to the packman repo you should do
zypper dup --from 3
the console messages look fine it is a bit strange that they only include information about your system’s audio setup not necessarily the audio stream from the file you’re loading
