datafiles within Blender 2.76

I am running opensuse 42.1 and have installed on my system Blender 2.76.

I am trying to install filmic-blender-master.zip to improve cycle renders to look more photo-realistic.

My issue is this, I have to replace a folder called ‘colormanagement’ and it should live within ‘datafiles’ located here

computer/usr/share/blender/2.76/datafiles/colormanagement/

Unfortunately it only has a folder called ‘scripts’ located here (And no hidden folder(s) either.)

computer/usr/share/blender/2.76/scripts/

I have checked that same location within Archlinux (I have that on a separate HDD) and ‘datafiles’ and ‘colormanagement’ folders are there. Though that has Blender 2.78.

I have downloaded the latest version of Blender (2.78c) directly and extracted the contents, and within that I can locate a folder called ‘colormanagement’.

So basically my question is this, do I need to be patient and wait for Blender 2.78 to become available through the opensuse repositories or am I looking in the wrong location for the blender program files?

Any help would be fab

I don’t think that Blender 2.78 will come to 42.1. Usually the updates are security updates and not version changes.
Regarding the directory did you try creating the directory and putting the proper files in the proper place?

It’s just a wild guess I know nothing about the blender internals.
