D-Link DWL-G122 issue - lsusb not working

Hey,

I am trying to get my USB adapter working but I’m having some difficulties.

Firstly, since the built-in driver doesn’t work my second choice was madwifi. I installed it but no luck so my final choice was ndiswrapper. I’ve installed the Windows driver but I can’t find my “xxxx:xxxx” device ID anywhere, I’ve tried manually searching for it in the hardware information but unfortunately with no luck, here’s the log:

I’ve also tried lsusb (and /usr/bin/lsusb) but the command is not supported on my fresh OpenSUSE 11.0 installation.

Can anyone see my device ID in the log or does anyone know how I can get lsusb supported?

Thank you in advance

Oh and btw, my adapter type is the rev. C one

You need to install usbutils to get lsusb.

Ok, thank you. Will do so

Found my adapter ID in the ndiswrapper database so I got it working
