Cyberduck is a remote storage browser that supports FTP, SFTP, and many other remote storage protocols “du jour”.
Cyberduck also supports Cryptomator for client side valut encryption.
Both are free and open source.
Cryptomator provides a Linux rpm that enables vault encryption, but for local storage only, leaving interaction with the remote to other solutions (e.g. rclone, google-drive-ocamlfuse).
Cyberduck provides an rpm repo for its CLI version. I don’t know enough about zypper to install it, but going by the wiki, the CLI seems to support most remote storage protocols.
I think it would be great for privacy aware users if somebody would be able to port the Cyberduck CLI to openSUSE, or at least to provide a guide as to how to install and update it.
I understand zypper supports yum. So FYI:
sudo zypper addrepo -G https://repo.cyberduck.io/stable/x86_64/ cyberduck
sudo zypper update
sudo zypper install duck
Why the zypper update, I would expect a
zypper ref

It does, but you need to be careful mixing apps from non-openSUSE repos -
you may run into issues with unmet dependencies and such.
But if it works, that’s cool. I use this on occasion on my Mac, and find
it to be a pretty useful program.
