Hello,
I am completely new to Linux as well as openSuse. I have installed OpenSuse 11.3 with the default setups and KDE after downloading it from this site. However I would now like to configure a CVS server which stores my application source code and is accessible to other users. I have downloaded a package for that available on this site which is cvs-1.12.12-168.1.src.rpm and want to install this on my machine. The machine which requires the CVS to be installed is not connected to the internet and cannot be since its on a secure network.
Please let me know if this is the correct package and also if anything else is required besides this package.
As previously mentioned OpenSuse 11.3 has been freshly installed with default settings on the machine
Please help me out with how to install the CVS server application. Any and all help is greatly appreciated
