Custom shortcuts for default applications

Hi folks,

in KDE4 i could assign any preferred shortcut for any application by going to “edit application> selecting an application > advanced tab> set shortcut key”, but in plasma 5 advanced tab is disabled.
How can we do so? and why the advanced tab is gray out?

It should be possible in the same way.

Probably because you didn’t actually select a menu entry, but only a folder/submenu?

Click on the small arrow (‘>’) in front of a submenu to list all contained entries and select one of them.
