Cursor shifting to a corner

cursor is teleporting to a corner, and back.

This issue cropped up in the last week, after updates. It was fixed for a day, and again started after another update. Looks like an issue with KDE plasma.

Any solutions? I tried changing cursor setting etc. didn’t work.

Do you think you provided nearly enough information for anybody to give a useful answer?

I have a video, but no option to upload it.

Looking good so far.

Something as low-level as the mouse cursor is handled in very low-level packages; some Wayland library, or the Wayland compositor.

I am still on X11, so I don’t know about any recent Wayland updates. But you could check the zypp history in Myrlyn what low-level Wayland packages were updated recently.

There is also a slight possibility that it’s a problem in the NVidia packages if you updated them recently.

Last time, i tried x11 thinking it might be a wayland problem. But it was in x11 too. Like you said, probably nvidia issue. I had a driver mismatch, a nd changed versions of some packages. I will reinstall drivers and see.

found the problem. It is my pen tablet that is connected, but not in use. disconnected it now. I will trouble shoot it later.
