After reinstalling OS 42.1 on my ASUS x86-64 laptop, the cursor-right key has stopped working, in GUI applications, konsole, and on the system console. From this I conclude that it is not a KDE issue, but something in X. When I run xev, it does not see cursor-right key presses at all. I know there is an X config file for the keyboard, but can’t remember its name or location. Help!?
Xorg config files are now in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d
On the other hand could simply be the mouse is broken
Oh, good. I’ll have to remember that.

Keyboard. :\
In KDE Systemsettings - Input devices - Keyboard, make sure “Asus laptop” is selected.
Unfortunately, there is no equivalent for this in TDE.
And, I’m pretty sure now that it’s a faulty keyboard; which is really irritating since it’s one that I replaced about six months ago and was working fine until recently.
