cursor pauses on toshiba A75 series notebook

Hello all,
I am a total noob to Opensuse making the migration from ubuntu. I have been using Ubuntu for a couple of years and decided to try something differnt after my latest upgrade to 8.04 caused major problems with my wifi.
Anyway, I have installed opensuse 11.0 on my laptop with the KDE 3.5 gui and I have a couple of problems. My main issue is the behavior of the cursor. It constantly freezes up or pauses. It is very frustrating and since I am a noob not only to opensuse but to KDE as well I haven’t the slightest idea how to resolve this. Any suggestions?

Hi
Sounds like it may be the beagle daemon, if you search in YaST and
remove it if you don’t require the indexing.

You may also wish to disable IPV6 if it’s not needed and finally if you
find firefox a bit sluggish disable the anti-phishing features in
preferences.

Alright I went opened up Yast control center and clicked the search button and typed in beagle and I got no results. I aslo searched for IPv6 and got no results. I know that beagle is on my pc because I turned it off to see if that would help which it didn’t. Am I doing something wrong?

nevermind my last post I figured out how to use Yast now. But unistalling beagle did not solve the problem the cursor still freezes on me. Also, I can’t use the touchpad to click on anything I have to use the right click button which is also irritating. Does anyone have any other ideas?

I’m using Toshiba M100, OpenSuse11, on KDE3.5.
Having some problem, freezing touchpad, I guess this is known bug. I’ve searched on forum and still no satisfied answer to my problem also. I’m using usb mouse now …
Anyone ??
