Cursor disappears in Thunderbird upon attaching file to the email

Hi,
I experience a pretty peculiar, if not plain strange, behaviour from Thunderbird in my OpenSuse 15.4 system (actually it happened the same in previous version, 15.3, but since now I am on 15.4, I will relate to this version).
I am in the message editing window in Thunderbird, and it does not matter if it’s a new message, or some reply of forward;
if the need is to add an attachment, I usually try to do this by drag&drop from Dolphin app;
just after the drop action, the cursor disappears, and I don’t know where I am for further editing of the message;
if I blindly click on some line, I can edit, yes, but it’s pretty hard to keep editing in a normal way – I need to close the not-sent-yet message, save it as draft, and then open it again for an edit, and now I have the cursor back.

If I try to add the file as attachment via the menu option (menu Attach, in the up-right corner of the editing window) things works normal - file is attached, and editing works normally further (cursor is there, and blinking at me).

I experience this only on Thunderbird here in my Opensuse box.
I tried various combinations on another computer where I have Thunderbird installed, on a Windows 11 system, and I did not experience this glitch in any circumstance.

As I said in the beginning, this happened the same when I was on the previous version of Opensuse (15.3); the current one (15.4) was installed from scratch, with formatting partitions, so nothing came from previous version via an upgrade.

I wonder if anyone else uses Thunderbird and experience the same behaviour !
