trouble with cups opensuse 11.3 x86-64
Hplip installed
prrinter = HP photosmart 4280
noway i can set the printer as default printer in cups as in 11,2
Now hp-device-manager part of hplip is conplaining “set the default printer”
Hi. I know this sounds naive, but just try uninstalling the printer and reinstalling it. It should automatically get set as default. I need more info to give any other advice, though.
problem S O L V E D
in Yast2 configure printer you choose edit currentdriver
on the screen you get then “Modify hpdeskjetf4200series”
you can choose A4 over Letter
on the bottum of that screen in the lefthandcorner there is Use as Default and 2 more choices
in 11.2 in Cups you could alter those settings
