CUDA on Leap 16?

Hello.
I want to upgrade to Leap 16 but I don’t see any compatible repo for it listed for it on NVIDIA’s CUDA repo - only for Leap 15.x

Is it not available yet? Or is it hosted somewhere else?

If it’s not ready, based on past experiences how long does it usually take NVIDIA to release CUDA support for a new Leap version?

@razo Hi and welcome to the Forum
Can you provide details on the GPU hardware?

Turing GPU’s+ should work OTB with the open driver… note boot with the grub option nomodeset as there is something funky with the nouveau driver from my tests on the GNOME DE, not sure if it’s either Mutter or Mesa (still investigating).

I’m using RTX3060. For base driver there should be no problem.
For cuda I think there is no open implementation and the only way to get it is via Nvidia repo right?

@razo correct if wanting to use rpms… I use the run files, but have deployed the rpms on one system with a Nvidia Tesla P4 and works fine…
