As ken_yap already explained, this is a new feature to overcome accidental aborting of your X session.
If you want to disable the feature altogether (to have it behave like it did before), add this option in the [Section “ServerFlags”] of your /etc/X11/xorg.conf:
Option “ZapWarning” “False”
