what you should do is search the forum to see what has been said
before about a problem…and, if you find the solution then use it
(careful, as i said before to be aware of exactly what the problem was,
the operating system, the video etc etc etc)…

so, if you do that you might not have to post! if you do post then no
one should give you a hard time for posting a NEW problem…or, maybe a
similar problem but on a newer version etc etc etc

now, i can’t make a hard and fast rule on when to post a new thread and
when not…but, i CAN say that a person running 12.1 probably has so
much different than a three year old thread which i’m sure wasn’t about
a 12.1 problem… see?

oh, and don’t just jump on the first answer you find! i mean, we DO have
folks drop in here and with one week’s experience start ‘helping’…so,
notice how many posts the answer giver has, and when s/he joined the
forum and that kinda stuff (which is not to say that a person joining
today will not know more than the guy here with 20,000 post…it could
happen…probably does…sure does almost every time one of the
developers drops in…they may had 20 posts and know exactly what is
going on.)
