I have a Creative Live! Cam Notebook Pro, and it previously worked with the gspca driver, but now it no longer works. A quick google and find /lib tell me that it was moved to the kernel, but I can’t find a way to get it working.
Help?

Hi,
I have just posted a very similar question, but with a Labtec camera. I am very interested in the answers you get!
using this command ‘mplayer tv:// -tv driver=v4l2:width=352:height=288:device=/dev/video0’, I get video from my webcam, but it doesn’t seem to work with v4l1 apps even if I do LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib64/libv4l/v4l1compat.so ‘command’
Today I looked into the bug list and saw that there are at least two bug reports about webcams not working. The solution now seems to be either wait or revert to 11.0
