I am a novice at linux…
My usb webcam is not working. i have opensuse 11.1, kernel 2.6.27-9- default. AMD chip X3 64bit, gigabyte motherboard. KDE 4.1
Have downloaded from the opensuse site HCL/Web Cameras - openSUSE
and when it tried to install, i got an error in YAST stating partially successful. and that gspcav1-kmp-default could not installed. i then downloaded uvc default repositories and installed but webcam still not working - in skype it shows a green screen that keep blinking… in kopete it shows a black screen - it detects the webcam as usb camera (041e:401e) with input as zc3xx and standard as blank
can you give me detailed troubleshooting
