Creating a SuSE Packages Repository

Hello everybody,

I would like to know if anyhow could tell me how to do a SuSE Packages Repository in order to make it work with YaST.

How must the repository be presentated ?

My idea is to create a personal packages repository and to use it for the OpenSuSE Network install.
This way it should be possible to create a personal SuSE OS.

Thanks in advance,
Kin Calvin

This isn’t a direct answer, but you could use the openSUSE Build
Service to house your own set of Internet available packages that
can be added by anyone (if you publish it).

A good place to start:

Software Repositories - openSUSE

g

Don’t reinvent the wheel - use KIWI.

Build Service/KIWI - openSUSE
