I found this over at Your Debut Album thanks to StumbleUpon. I thought it would be a cool idea.

1 - Go to Random Wikipedia Article
The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

If the image you get during step 3 is inappropriate, please select the fourth. :wink:

2 - Go to Random quotations: Random Quotes - The Quotations Page
The last four words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.

If you want to do this again, you’ll hit refresh to generate new quotes, because clicking the quotes link again will just give you the same quotes over and over again.

3 - Go to flickr’s “explore the last seven days” Flickr: Explore interesting photos from the last 7 days in FlickrLand…
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

Put it all together, that’s your debut album.

Interesting and not unlike the cut-up technique in literature. In fact, in some avenues of art it is a “serious” methodology, serious on the ars pro artem grounds anyways.
