create network between opensuse and windows

I have installed VMware workstation V9.0.1 … My host OS is Windows 7 64bits, and in my VMWare i have installed opensuse 12.2 …
I want to create a network (lan) between those OS, help me please …

This is not really an openSUSE issue. The host and the guest can probably
already communicate unless you disabled networking within vmware. What
type of networking you setup is your business, but if you used any of the
three defaults (Bridged, NAT, Host-Only) the two systems should be able to
communicate assuming they have valid IP addresses assigned (assuming you
are using TCP/IP for communication) and their respective network settings
are enabled.

Once you have communication in place what are you wanting to do between
the two systems? Ping all day? Access the guest via SSH? Access web
sites on the guest? Enable a KDC on the guest for some purpose? Share
files via SSH or NFS or something?

Good luck.

thanks for the reply, I solve the problem.
it was just a corrupt installation of VMware, thank you so much, by the way I’m using Host-only in the type of networking, and I want to access to a database in openSUSE via my windows 7
